Stock Manager at NetFlorist

Responsibilities:

•  Performing regular cycle counts.
• Assisting with Barcode roll-out and consistent checks in the warehouse to physical product received.
• Labelling shelves and racking, ensuring that stock is also correctly labelled.
• Manage administration functions – processing wastage, monitoring the daily dashboard, transfers, etc.
• Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
• Rolling out and assisting with the stock and operational policies and procedures.
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Ensuring safety of staff.
• Mentoring, motivating and disciplining staff.
• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
• Assisting with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Stock Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years warehouse / inventory management experience.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Barcode experience
• Stock takes, monthly and weekly stock counts experience
• Customer returns, queries, experience
• Valid drivers' license.
• Good Excel and computer skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Great leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong people skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Available to work extended hours
• Diploma in Inventory control / barcoding / warehouse - advantageous
• Experience in Retail industry advantageous
