We are looking for a dynamic energetic individual to join our Cape Town team as a Stores controller / Driver.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stock into warehouse
• Manage all stock out of warehouse
• Manage ordering of low stock
• Coordinate and plan all factory and site deliveries
• Perform quarterly stock takes
• Update KPA sheet monthly
• Manage team tools
• Manage factory tools
• Manage branch tool and vehicle checks
• Assist and process any adhoc procurement requirements that may come up
• Daily follow ups on PR on Hold Sheet and following up on info
• Daily follow ups on PR for Stock Parts sheet and dispatching thereof
• Daily follow up on open PO sheet
• Management of damaged parts returned to factory
• Ensuring parts for new projects are ordered timeously for each project (Scaffolding, shaft lighting, signage, consumable packs, tog, forklift etc.

The stores controller will assess the site conditions and inform Procurement of any offloading requirements including:.

FORKLIFT REQUIREMENTS: Should a forklift be required, Factory Manager will need to obtain 2 quotes for approval from procurement.

TOG LABOUR REQUIREMENTS: Should tog labor be required the full tog labor approval process should be followed. Construction teams CANNOT be used as labor for offloads, unless prior approval has been given by Construction Manager.

HOARDING REQUIREMENTS: Hoarding, if required, must be approved by the Sales Manager and then arranged by the Factory Manager.

Weekly vehicle checks at branch

Ensure that any damages or findings are reported

Quotes must be submitted for repairs
