Store Planner at Pepkor Speciality

Job Description    

• Store Planner is responsible for the optimization of sales by ensuring that the right stock in the right quantity is distributed to the right stores at the right time, in accordance with required service level agreements.

Qualifications    

• Matric/Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification (diploma or Degree)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience    

• 2 – 4 years of Retail experience
• Store  and support office experience: 12 months
• Previous exposure to general logistics and supply chain processes
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and the MS office Packages
• Information monitoring
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent Planning and Organising skills
• Strong time management skills
• Commercial understanding and merchant mindset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Financial Acumen
• High Attention to detail

Key Responsibilities    

• Plan and ensure accurate distribution of stock to stores (seasonal and non-seasonal)
• Ensure the optimal distribution of non-seasonal and seasonal replenishment stock to optimise sales
• Provide the correct information to ensure correct allocations
• Compile and deliver a location plan that allows for the clustering of stores at the required product level
• Continuously analysing the various stock across stores per identified categories
• Provide regular feedback and reports after store visits
• Analysis the movement of stock across stores and product ranges
• Analyse store performance and provide accurate and timeous feedback to optimise business decision-making
• Assist stores in resolving queries relating to stock
• Ensure regular store visits with structured feedback reports
• Regular liaison with stores
