Main Purpose of the Job

• We are looking for Stores Assistant to maintain accurate inventory records and process stock transactions efficiently in Syspro. The role supports smooth inventory and stores operations through stock control, reporting, and compliance with company procedures.

Education, experience and competencies

• Grade 12/Matric certificate with Mathematics and English.
• Tertiary qualification in Stock controller/inventory management or supply chain management
• Computer literacy (Syspro is an advantage).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process inventory transactions in Syspro, including GRNs, stock movements, transfers, and expense allocations.
• Monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies and GRN issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock management data.
• Manage bin locations and perform regular bin audits.
• Prepare and maintain operational documents, filing systems, and invoice records.
• Generate warehouse and inventory performance reports (accuracy, OTIF, turnaround times, etc.).
• Update and improve store procedures, work instructions, and QMS documentation.
• Conduct weekly stock reconciliations and coordinate branch stock requests.
• Participate in stock counts, stock takes, audits, and operational meetings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies while supporting team activities and additional duties as assigned.
