Stores Controller at Staff Solutions

• Our client in the Manufacturing industry has a new vacancy for a Stores Controller  based in Gqeberha

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Receiving, inspecting and verifying incoming goods
• Accurate stock control, recording and documentation
• Stock issuing, distribution and inventory management
• Stock taking, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
• Supervision, coaching and coordination of warehouse staff
• Warehouse operations planning and cross-functional coordination

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 (Matric) (Mathematics will be advantageous).
• Completed tertiary qualification (minimum NQF Level 5) in Logistics, Warehousing, Supply Chain Management or a related field, with 3–4 years' experience in a Stores/Warehouse environment.

Advantageous

• Experience working on the Fourth Shift warehouse management system.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Forklift Licence (essential)
• Excellent attendance record with an impeccable disciplinary record
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and accountability
