Strategic Delivery Manager at Old Mutual

Job Description

• Private Clients by Old Mutual Wealth is a fast-growing dynamic space, with entrepreneurial minded individuals focused on delivering excellent bespoke customer services to ultra-high net worth individuals.
• The Strategic Delivery Manager will be the specialist responsible for selecting and executing on high impact projects that impact Old Mutual Customers through a team of strategic partners.

Key responsibilities will include amongst others:

• Sets ambitious and clear vision for designing solutions across multiple journeys.
• Builds solid relationships with Business stakeholders with regards to their business strategies and vision.
• Leads a team or manages stakeholders to achieve strategic delivery targets
• Develops a deep understanding of the different target markets and their needs.
• Executes on all aspects of special projects including the definition, creation, development and implementation.
• Complex environment incorporating life, asset management, retirement funds; locally and internationally.
• Driving efficiencies within the business.
• Responsible for new product implementations – including negotiations, contracting and implementing into the relevant operational teams.
• Automation of manual processes including the implementation of system controls and checks, together with standard operating procedures for new processes.

Qualifications and Experience required:

• B.Com or equivalent.
• Relevant post-graduate/Masters degree preferred.
• At least 8 years relevant experience.
• Investment management/stockbroking space would be preferential.
• Data modelling, data management and data analysis.
• Strong diagnostic/problem solving skills.
• Advanced Excel.
• Experience in new product launches and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
