Sub-Editor - Pretoria at Fitch Solutions

We’ll Count on You To:

• Proofread political, economic and industry-specific content. Check copy for consistency, style, figures, libel & copyright infringement, grammar and punctuation.
• Communicate closely with the wider Research, Sub-Editorial and Production teams to ensure timely publication of content.
• Manage high daily and weekly workloads.
• Contribute to sub-editorial process improvements.

What You Need to Have:

• Degree in an English language-oriented or adjacent field.
• Experience of editing/proofreading in an English-language environment.
• Excellent written English, grammar and proofreading skills, besides meticulous attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and an ability to grasp new technologies/systems quickly.
