    Superbalist - Junior Menswear Designer

    Superbalist - Junior Menswear Designer is a fast-growing online fashion business based in South Africa.     What you'll do:

    • Seasonal trend analysis
    • Present trends quarterly to the Buying and leadership teams.
    • Weekly sales analysis
    • Research and feedback on what's happening in the market in relation to product and price
    • Working with the Buying & Design team to build ranges to fill the monthly buy plans across categories
    • Interpret overseas trends into commercial fashion for the SA customer
    • Be responsible for the design of a department within the Menswear division.
    • Create tech-packs with CAD images, fabric and trim information and necessary technical specifications
    • Create graphic prints
    • Conduct fittings of completed samples.

    What you need:

    • Relevant Diploma or Degree in Fashion design
    • Minimum 2 years working experience in the Fashion industry
    • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
    • Technical knowledge in garment construction
    • Fabric knowledge
    • Ability to identify key seasonal trends and interpret for South African market
    • Analytical thinker
    • Time management skills
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
    • Excellent inter personal skills- be a team player
