Purpose Of This Role

• The Sourcing Manager will manage the source of supply, relationships, agreements and processes of Superbalist with its suppliers.

Key Responsibilities / Accountability

• Source new suppliers and brands based on the needs of the business and negotiate agreements aligned with the KPI's of the business.
• Competitive analysis ito supply base
• Apply knowledge of brands: local, international, imports, private label supply
• Work across all the merchandise divisions of Sup to ensure alignment around the supply chain
• Onboard new suppliers : legal, inbound, finance , retail , marketing alignment.
• Manage relationships and communication with current supplier base
• Manage supplier conformance when first line measures from inbound and retail are not effective
• Monitor and report on supplier performance and develop action plans to ensure profitable supply base
• Work closely with legal to ensure that supplier contracts and agreements accurately reflect the needs of the business

 

Qualifications And Experience

• Diploma or Relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience 5-10 years' retail experience at senior level
• Experience in E-commerce
• Knowledge of the requirements of product development within the apparel space
• Proficiency in relevant software packages and applications
