Superintendent Project Planning at Sibanye-Stillwater

Job Purpose:

• Implement New Innovation projects, track projects, ensure remains on cost and delivered on time, and report on progress, till close out. Exercising governance on all aspects of project to support project roll out that will ensure the delivery to the agreed upon outcome / intent of a project

Minimum Required Qualification:

• NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; or PMI accredited Certificate in Project Management or NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in Project Management.

The Appointee should:

•  3-5 years Operations Experience in a Mining environment  5 years plus Project Management Experience in a Mining Environment.  3- 5years Project Planning Experience

Advantageous Qualifications:

• NQF 7 (Bachelors Degree and Advanced Diploma) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• To actively support the operations in the initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling and close out of all Capital Projects. This involves dual responsibility for the entire lifecycle for projects. The ability to impact business performance by playing a critical role in delivering capital projects, on time, within budget and to the agreed scope of work.
