Qualifications and experience required:

• Traffic Officer’s Diploma - ITO-3.
• Computer literate – Office applications.
• Valid Code EB driver’s licence.
• Three years’ experience.

Key attributes and competencies:

• Incumbent will be responsible for coordinating, controlling and monitoring sequences associated with the execution of warrants and arrests in compliance with statutory Laws and By-laws related to Traffic Legal Processes.
• Incumbent will be responsible for controlling the outcomes associated with utilisation, productivity and performance of personnel within the section.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet critical/conflicting deadlines.
• Must have good presentation, report writing and supervisory skills.
• Must have good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Job purpose:

Coordinating the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of sequences of outcomes associated with plans and programmes designed to accomplish key service delivery objectives with respect to executions of warrants of arrest, through the co-ordination of special operations (planning roadblocks, etc.), processing of legal process documents, and the enforcement of Laws and By-laws.

Special conditions to this position:

• Incumbent must be physically fit and able-bodied.
• Required to work in all weather conditions.
• Required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime.
• Required to be on standby.
