Supervisor: Assets Management at The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA)

Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Manager: 

Management Accounts and the responsibilities include: 

• Overseeing database management 
• Overseeing acquisitions and disposals 
• Monthly reporting to the Manager: Management Accounts 
• Journals processing
• Overseeing physical Bi-annual & Annual assets verifications 
• Audit General South Africa (AGSA) and Internal Audit engagements 
• Overseeing insurance claims lodging.

Qualifications and Experience: 

• National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent (NQF Level 6) 
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent (NQF Level 7) would be an added advantage 
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in assets management 
• A minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience would be an added advantage.
