Supervisor Control & Instrumentation - Hotazel at South32

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

• As an supervisor control and instrumentation you will be responsible supervise the instrumentation and process teams in the safe design, installation, repair and maintenance of instrumentation equipment across the site..  

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Supervise Instrumentation maintenance activities;
• Prioritise and allocate Maintenance resources efficiently (Planned and unplanned);
• Guide and assist Instrument Technicians with daily maintenance activities;
• Monitor and control execution of Maintenance schedule;
• Implement and follow-up action plans to address any deviations from the Maintenance Plan;
• Ensure compliance to S32 Maintenance KPI's;
• Analyse present systems for continuous upgrading and improvement (SCADA + Ladder logic programming);
• Monitor critical stock items and determine required stock levels.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in a supervisory capacity and 5 years working experience in a maintenance environment;
• SCADA, Ladder logic and PLC knowledge will be advantageous.

Qualifications for this role are:

• N6 or a National Diploma or an S4 in control and instrumentation;
