Responsible for the direct management of your operational team, with a focus on delivering daily targets and maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
Overseeing day-to-day team operations to meet output, quality, and safety standards.
Allocating tasks, setting daily goals, and providing real-time coaching and feedback.
Conducting daily team briefings and clearly communicating expectations and priorities.
Monitoring team performance, identifying issues, and escalating challenges to the Controller.
Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), BOP standards, and safety protocols.
Reporting on daily team deliverables, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Supporting training, mentoring, and development of team members to improve capability and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 (Mandatory).
Post matric qualification will be advantageous.
2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a distribution, logistics, or warehousing environment.
Successful Completion of the Developing Supervisory Programme for Internal DC Applicants (Mandatory).
