POSITION SYNOPSIS:
The purpose of this role is to supervise and assist the team in the safe and cost-effective execution of all Mechanical maintenance work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serious contenders will have N3 Technical Certificate and a recognized Trade Test together with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in maintenance of which at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity or acting.
• Valid Driver’s License is essential;
• SAP knowledge will be advantageous.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maintain health, safety and housekeeping within the internal environment;
• Conduct investigations into workplace incidents; Participate in the planning, development,
• Implementation and review of Equipment Strategies;
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of hydraulics, crushers, pumps, screens, conveyors and various plant equipment;
• Sets goals for maintenance improvement through establishing KPI’s;
• Optimizes and manages condition monitoring activities and processes;
• Conducts critical spares analysis;
• Monitors and quantifies reliability cost savings and equipment life cycle costs.
