    Supervisor Slicing

    Job Description    

    • To supervise the production slicing team responsible to slice and pack bread to the desired quality specifications, on time and in full.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure optimal bread slicing process for consistent high-quality bread.
    • Ensure baking process delivers consistent high-quality products within specifications.
    • Ensure adherence to all quality management, food safety and personal hygiene requirements by the slicing team.
    • Ensuring adherence to all health and safety requirements in slicing.
    • Support continuous slicing process operations and efficiencies by ensuring timeous technical support as given.
    • Build a high performing slicing team.
    • Support continuous operations and optimal working conditions.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Grade 12 with numerical ability and PC Literacy - Essential
    • Chamber of Baking certificate - Essential

    Experience Requirements    

    • FMCG Plant Bakery Production supervisory experience (plant size minimum of 5000 loaves per hour) - 3-5 Years – Essential

    Other Requirements

    • Pressurized environment.
    • Must be able to work shifts.
    • Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
    • Overtime expected from time to time.
