To manage, coordinate, and supervise all waste management and waste collection operations within the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN) villages, ensuring the effective, efficient, and sustainable delivery of waste services in accordance with the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008 (Act No. 59 of 2008), as amended, and all other applicable environmental and municipal regulations.
The Waste Management Supervisor is responsible for promoting a clean, safe, and healthy environment across RBN communities through the effective planning, monitoring, and control of waste collection activities, waste minimisation initiatives, recycling programmes, and environmental awareness campaigns.
The incumbent will provide leadership to waste management teams, monitor operational performance, ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and support the achievement of RBN's environmental sustainability objectives.
Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
Diploma or Degree in Environmental Management or Waste Management
five (5) years’ experience in waste management, municipal services, fleet operations, or service delivery management.
At least two (2) years in a supervisory position,managing teams and service delivery operations.
