About the Role

• We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor: Workshop Foreman to oversee our workshop operations in Johannesburg South. The primary focus of this role is to manage daily activities within the workshop, ensuring optimal performance, adherence to safety protocols, and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of workshop technicians to ensure effective workflow and productivity.
• Schedule and assign tasks based on priorities and project timelines, ensuring all work is completed to high standards.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and workshop protocols, promoting a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Implement quality control measures and troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process.
• Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment, and workshop activities, providing regular reports to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a workshop or manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of workshop processes and safety standards, with a commitment to promoting best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, demonstrating the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach to addressing operational challenges.

Preferred Qualifications
