Supply Chain Management Intern at Mintek

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Policy & Compliance:

• Procure goods and services in line with the government framework.
• Keep abreast of changes in the legislative environment and propose amendments to the procurement policy and procedure to align.
• Monitor compliance of internal and external stakeholders with procurement policy, procedures and legislative framework.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage internal and external auditors when required.

Sourcing:

• Assisting with the preparation and administration of RFQs and tenders.
• Supporting the supplier registration and database management processes.
• Assisting with procurement record keeping and document management.
• Assisting with the administration of briefing sessions and tender evaluations.
• Supporting the preparation of procurement reports and submissions to Bid Committees.
• Providing general administrative support to the SCM team.

Reporting:

• Compile monthly and quarterly reports.
• Open Purchase Requisitions
• Open Purchase Orders
• Ad-hoc reports as requested by the Ad-hoc reports as requested by Head SCM and Divisional Manager.

Minimum requirements

• Bcom/B-Tech in Supply Chain Management or Logistics/Purchasing or equivalent (NQF level 7)
• Ideal: Honours (NQF Level 8)
• Excellent academic record 60% average
