Support Engineer at Globetom

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in the area of Computer Science

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a support position, with Telecommunications industry experience and experience in a mission-critical environment an advantage.
• 2 years of experience with Linux.
• Experience with test tools and proven regression test experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience with SQL and/or Oracle will be an advantage 

Job Description

• Form part of an established Managed Services team that provides ongoing support under Managed Services contracts for our customers.
• Fault finding will be a key aspect of the workload. The testing of new deliverables is another key aspect.
• Standby will be required – around about 10 weeks per year

Compensation

• Negotiable based on experience and qualifications

• You will be required to work from Globetom’s head office in South Africa in Centurion.
