    Support Technician - Umhlanga - Durban (54538)

    Job Description

    • An ISP specializing in providing INTERNET, VOICE and HOSTING Solutions, is seeking a permanent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Support Technician, based in Umhlanga, Durban.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Answering support phone calls and emails
    • Managing a ticketing system and updating customers until their issues are fully resolved
    • Providing remote support and troubleshooting connectivity issues
    • Proactive monitoring of connectivity to identify those in need of assistance
    • Router and VOIP setup/configuration

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education:

    • A Matric certificate (Grade 12) as a minimum

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Must be able to work well within a team environment and manage deadlines
    • Previous experience in networking and IT support will be an advantage
    • A driver's license and your own vehicle will be an advantage

    Remuneration:

    • Market related salary based on experience and qualifications
