Swimming Pool Superintendent at City of Tshwane

Job purpose

• To perform lifeguard duties, facility maintenance and supervision, personnel and finance management, and to manage access control at municipal swimming pools

Appointment  requirements

• Grade 12
• Valid Lifeguard Award with yearly re-test certificate
• Valid First Aid Level 1 certificate
• At least two years’ relevant swimming pool operations experience
• Knowledge of swimming pool operations (filtration systems)
• Code B driving licence
• Computer literacy
• Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
• Willingness and ability to work on Saturdays according to a fixed schedule
• Willingness to be redeployed temporarily to another facility in Region 3
