Systems Administrator at Santam Insurance

What will you do?
A position exists at Santam Head Office:  Underwriting Services and Reinsurance – Personal Lines Underwriting (Systems and Administration) as Systems Administrator

What will make you successful in this role?

• Update and maintain various Reference tables on Guidewire i.e. security measures, postal codes, rating tables, broker discount mandates
• Support testing of Systems (Internal as well as external – rates/underwriting and product)
• Assist with the implementation of product solutions
• Provide support to Guidewire Incident logs
• Provide support and assistance in the form of general administrative duties within the team.
• Manage all queries in the MyRisk and Bureau Disputes Mailboxes
• Communicate and Collaborate (verbally & written) with internal and external parties (Santam departments, administrators, brokers) 

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12
• FAIS compliant (30 credits on NQF level 4 – Personal Lines)
• Insurance related diploma, degree or studying towards
• Current 3 - 5 years’ experience with regards to Personal Lines Underwriting
• Personal Lines product knowledge
• Knowledge of general insurance principles
• Working knowledge of MS OFFICE, MS Word and especially MS Excel with knowledge and good understanding of formula’s etc.
• Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) – speak, read & write
• System Testing experience
• In-depth knowledge of Guidewire system and Mainframe (Persetel)
