Systems Analyst/Designer II at Nedbank

Job Purpose
To conduct in depth analysis to design and implement solutions that will mitigate organisational risk associated to the governance of access. This job will require frequent stakeholder engagements, enforcement of structure and analysis of data to realise documented business requirements.

Key Responsibility

• Structure, Analyse, Document and influence integration of source systems with Access Governance capability through end-to-end system analysis, stakeholder engagement and data verification. 
• Incorporate specific risk-based focus on business controls needed in identity and access management-related processes/capabilities.
• Understand and incorporate industry best practices into approach to specialist analysis. 
• Focus on integration across the system landscape and manage long term operational impact of proposed solution.
• Establish and communicate frameworks, standards and guidelines for Access Governance requirements gathering and Integration and enhance the skills maturity in this specialist domain.
• Assist the on-boarding team and the Business/Risk owners to understand end-to-end integration, as well as weak points in the designed controls and/or integration mechanisms.
• Determine the technical complexity of integration of new systems to assist with prioritizations and demand management
• Ascertain conclusions to influence the end-to-end solution based on data analysis from various data sources. 

Preferred Qualification

• BCom Information Systems or
• BCom Informatics

Essential Certifications

• Certifications in data or relevant access governance related technologies and principles where available

Type of Exposure

• Basic data analysis methods and techniques to reach a defined objective. 
• Ability to engage both business and technical (IT) stakeholders
• Knowledge of security concepts and controls in the broader Access Management related environment
• Understanding of application testing.

Minimum Experience Level

• 3 – 5 years’ work experience in a relevant information security or risk related business environment. 
• 2 – 3 years systems analysis experience.
