Systems Analyst Time and Attendance at Royal Bafokeng Platinum Ltd

Work Output Description
The Systems Analyst plays a tactical role within the Information Management team by enabling change in the organisation through defining needs, recommending comprehensive, integrated solutions that deliver value to stakeholders and driving the implementation of the identified solutions. The role is responsible for providing specialist support and or installation of deployed Time and Attendance Software and Hardware Solutions in RBPlat. The role requires a thorough understanding of business process, process redesign, and integration as well as comprehensive understanding of the application being supported.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma / NQF 6 equivalent in information and Technology or equivalent
• ITIL Foundation certification /Training in Information Technology
• Technician /Supervisory certification in Biometric Time and Access Control / Wired and Wireless Networking / Turnstile Maintenance and Installations
• 5-7 years in RBPlat Time and Attendance software and hardware support, preferably in mining operational environment

Advantageous

• Bachelor’s Degree /NQF 7 in Information Technology or Equivalent

Skills and Knowledge

• Computer literacy and User training
• Knowledge and understanding of business relevant Software: BL2000, Connect, Unique Time, Basic SQL Development / Understanding of SQL Configuration. Hardware: Biometric Readers, Turnstiles, Badgemaking AP’s, network installations

• In depth understanding of ITIL governance process, inclusive of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Clear understanding of MS operating environment
