Systems Developer - Libertas at Distell

The Systems Developer will join our Development and Integration team to deliver on Projects and Business as usual Incidents and Change requests. The position will be responsible for presenting changes in CAB when required and will also present transports in the WACA weekly session. The incumbent will be working closely with the following teams: Internal within the Enterprise Applications, Business Relationship Management and Architecture teams, and the Business in order to deliver the best fit for purpose solutions following the agile methodology.

The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certification in a relevant discipline, or proven experience.
• 7 years’ experience in Enterprise Software Development, Deployment and Application Support, including analysing and solving business problems or realising business opportunities as well as continually seeking to improve current processes by implementing solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs and improve services.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the SAP ABAP environment, with particular focus on FI, CO, MM, PP, QM, and SD modules. Experience in the SAP HR module would be advantageous.
• Solid experience with object oriented development, interfacing systems, IDOCS, the SAP Enhancement framework, HANA, Core Data Services, performance optimization and debugging, Smartforms, SAPScript and BDC.
• Experience with SAP service and enhancement pack upgrades, including SPAU, SPAU_ENH, SPDD, etc.
• Exposure to monitoring and trouble-shooting integration systems such as SAP PI would be advantageous.
• Exposure to Dev Ops preferred
