Systems R&D Engineer at Boardroom Appointments

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma or degree in IT or vendor related certifications
• Ubuntu or similar Linux operating systems
• Experience with Python or similar languages
• Experiencing with deploying Django or web frameworks
• Experience with MySQL or Postgres
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3,
• An understanding of deployment tools such as Chef and/or Ansible is advantageous,
• An understanding of applications such as Nginx, Gunicorn, Supervisor is also advantageous,
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments,
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application,
• Use of queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ
• Experience and knowledge of Radius (AAA)
• Proficiency with source-control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Familiar with monitoring systems/tools e.g. Netdata/Zabbix/Iris
• Experience in engaging with different engineering teams
• Experience in working with multi-cultured employees
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to take ownership of projects and initiatives with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and is stress tolerant
• Project management experience
• Valid driver license and own transport
