    Talent Acquisition and Assessment Specialist – Patterson Grade D2

    An exciting vacancy exists at Corporate Office for an experienced Talent Acquisition and Assessment Specialist within the Human Resources Division.

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Manager Talent Management, will be responsible for the following:

    • Develops and implement innovative, and proactive recruitment / sourcing approaches to develop high quality active and passive candidate pipelines, leveraging the ACSA Employer Brand. This may include job posting optimisation, recruiting marketing channel development, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning.
    • Provide recruitment standards and guidance to hiring managers and HR professionals with hiring and employment data.
    • Facilitate end-to-end talent acquisition processes in liaison with business partners and line management leadership, supporting the Company Transformation imperatives.
    • Develop and implement an integrated approach to retain employees, ensure, performance and delivery on the EVP via onboarding integration and stay analyses as well as exit process management.
    • Assist with the implementation of talent attraction and retention strategies, and HR planning in line with Strategic Workforce Planning ensuring that appropriate human resources are recruited and retained by ACSA.
    • Develop and implement integrated tools, including but not limited to psychometric assessments, risk assessments, electronic capability and platforms, to enhance scientific and quality attraction and selection processes increasing successful performance of new hires in the business.
    • To implement, establish & manage the ACSA Assessment Centre. This also includes process and related activities as well as the analysis and employee testing data.
    • Develop and implement a psychometric assessment guiding framework on assessment best practice.
    • Oversee and implement assessment related projects and initiatives ensuring high quality results are delivered professionally and ethically.
    • Stay abreast and comply with laws, rules, regulations, standards, technologies and emerging trends in the field of employee assessments.
    • Provide input in designing the ACSA Assessment Model in compliance to relevant regulation and legislation.
    • Establish, monitor and manage healthy, diverse, workable internal and external relationships, including the interface with external providers to ensure functional needs are met and organisational goals achieved.
    • Deliver accurate reporting to reflect Talent Acquisition and Assessment success, trends and improvement requirements.
    • End-to-end contract and contractor management to ensure achievement of functional and business objectives.
    • Implement and manage people development processes such as performance management, succession planning and talent management to meet functional performance standards.
    • Agree and implement own and sub-ordinates development plans.
    • Develop and coach team members and encourage knowledge transfer.
    • Analyse trends and identify competence training gaps and action.
    • Forecast learning requirements and pipelines related to legislative and industry changes. Implement and manage people development processes such as performance management, succession planning and talent management to meet functional performance standards.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience, or the equivalent of such, will be required:

    • Bachelor Honours Degree (4 years – 480 credits) (NQF 8) in Industrial & Organisational Psychology/Human Resources Management is essential
    • Registration with HPCSA as a Psychologist or Psychometrist is (essential)
    • 5 years operational experience in Talent Acquisition and Psychometric Assessments is essential.
    • 2 – 3 years Stakeholder Management experience is essential
    • Code B; Motor vehicle license is essential
    • MS Office proficiency on an advanced level
