Talent Management Consultant at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• Responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and review of talent management practices and processes within Capitec Bank.
• Provide guidance and support relating to general Talent Management related policies and practices to the HR COEs, HRBP department, and the organisation.

 
Experience
Minimum:

• At least 3 – 4 years’ proven experience in two or more of the Talent Management elements listed below:
• Talent identification, development and succession planning practices and processes (in the capacity of a Talent Management consultant, Organisational Development practitioner, end-to-end HR lead or support role)
• Recruitment and Selection practices and application for talent pipelines (external bursaries, graduate recruitment, etc.)
• Learning and development practices and application to build and sustain talent pipelines
• Psychometrics and assessment methodology application
• Must have proven experience in the building and maintaining of key client relationships
• Willingness to travel on a frequent basis to engage, identify and build networks with a variety of institutions for talent pipelines (predominantly entry and junior levels)

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Organisational Psychology or Human Resources

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Qualified Psychometrist/Psychologist registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Knowledge and understanding of:

• The core elements of Talent Management:
• Job description/Competencies/Career paths
• Use of psychometric assessments (ability tests, personality questionnaires, etc), and facilitating feedback and development conversations
• Performance management concepts, principles, and practices related to planning, monitoring, rating, and rewarding employee performance
• Leadership development
• Organisational Design and Development
• General HR processes and procedures as they relate to:
• Learning & development (i.e. application of assessments for development purposes)
• Relevant legislation (i.e. LRA, EEA, BCEA)
• External and internal stakeholder management
• Business writing
• General Office systems and processes
