Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Tax Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational, deadline-management and record-keeping skills.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage SARS correspondence, notices, submissions and follow-ups
Maintain accurate records of SARS reference numbers, deadlines, actions and outcomes
Manage tax deadlines, calendars, reminders and follow-ups, escalating urgent or overdue matters
Assist with client onboarding, FICA administration, engagement letters and maintaining client records
Maintain accurate GreatSoft Planner entries, matter records, workflow trackers and supporting documentation
Assist with WIP, billing, fee notes, quotations and payment follow-ups
Provide administrative support with assessments and other tax-related matters
Respond to client and internal communications professionally and within required timeframes
Work closely with tax professionals and support the team with general administrative duties
Requirements
Matric
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience working with SARS eFiling is advantageous
Previous experience dealing with SARS and tax administration processes preferred
Strong administrative, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills
Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
