    Legal and Client Success Manager - Durban

    • Our client is looking for a Legal & Client Success Manager to take ownership of their legal and contracting function while also supporting and managing client engagements.

    Responsibilities
    Legal & Contracting

    • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, NDAs and Service Level Agreements
    • Maintain the contract template library and ensure contract records are accurate and up to date
    • Advise the business on contractual risks and provide practical guidance where required

    Client Success

    • Scope client engagements from start to finish
    • Run discovery sessions and translate client requirements into clear scopes and timelines
    • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients while the engineering team delivers the project
    • Build strong client relationships and ensure successful project delivery

    Requirements

    • LLB degree
    • Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience
    • Commercial contracting experience
    • Client Success or client-facing experience
    • Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work confidently with both clients and internal technical teams

    Head of Due Diligence - Remote

    • Our US client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Head of Due Diligence to join their team remotely.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the end-to-end buy-side due diligence process, managing timelines, workstreams, advisors, and key decision deadlines
    • Coordinate technical, environmental, regulatory, legal, commercial, tax, HR, and IT diligence
    • Lead financial due diligence, including quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, capex, and normalized EBITDA
    • Build and maintain transaction valuation models covering DCF, EV/EBITDA, NAV, and comparable transactions
    • Integrate operational and technical assumptions, including production, costs, reserves/resources, and capex, into financial models
    • Identify and escalate key risks, red flags, and valuation impacts and translate findings into clear investment recommendations
    • Prepare Investment Committee, board, lender, and co-investor materials
    • Work with legal counsel on transaction documents, warranties, indemnities, and conditions precedent
    • Manage the transaction process through signing and completion, including data room and stakeholder coordination

    Requirements

    • Experience in Big 4 Transaction Services/M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or investment advisory
    • Proven experience managing buy-side or sell-side transactions from due diligence through completion
    • Strong hands-on financial modelling and valuation experience, including DCF and comparable company/transaction analysis
    • Strong understanding of mining-specific due diligence, including reserves/resources, life-of-mine planning, capex, permitting, and ESG considerations
    • Experience coordinating technical, legal, environmental, tax, and other transaction advisors
    • CA/ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent qualification
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and engage confidently with senior stakeholders
    • Relevant mining, engineering, or geoscience experience is advantageous

    Staff Accountant - Remote

    • Our US client is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join their remote finance team. The role involves multi-company general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, cash application, and financial reporting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day general ledger transactions across multiple companies in QuickBooks
    • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, reclassifications, and intercompany transactions
    • Apply customer payments and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and deposit variances
    • Perform monthly bank, credit card, clearing, and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Support month-end close and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time
    • Prepare balance sheets, Profit & Loss statements, variance analysis, and supporting financial schedules
    • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
    • Assist with audits, reporting, and other accounting requirements as directed by the CFO
    • Identify accounting errors, control gaps, and process improvements

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent practical experience
    • 2–4 years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience
    • Strong hands-on QuickBooks experience, preferably in a multi-company environment
    • Working knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, and account reconciliations
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet month-end deadlines
    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • Experience with deferred revenue, BILL, or external audits is an advantage
    • Must be willing to work US hours

    Senior Accounting Clerk – Hilton

    • Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Accounting Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    Responsibilities

    Annual Financial Statements 

    • Prepare and review annual financial statements of varying complexities
    • Understand and oversee data capturing and processing
    • Perform reconciliations of debtors, creditors, bank accounts and other relevant accounts
    • Have a strong understanding of bookkeeping through to trial balance
    • Maintain and review the Fixed Asset Register
    • Prepare and review amortisation schedules
    • Reconcile and balance intercompany loans
    • Prepare and review tax computations and IT48s
    • Prepare and review tax distribution schedules

    Management Accounts 

    • Prepare management accounts, supporting documentation and executive summaries
    • Perform reconciliations of debtors, creditors, bank accounts and other relevant accounts
    • Process and reconcile VAT returns
    • Process payroll and prepare EMP201 and EMP501 submissions
    • Have a strong understanding of bookkeeping through to trial balance

    Taxation 

    • Prepare and review tax returns
    • Prepare responses to SARS audit queries

    Statutory Returns

    • Prepare and review VAT returns and submissions
    • Complete and submit WCA returns

    Supervision and Training

    • Supervise junior and middle accounting clerks
    • Provide training and assistance to team members as needed

    Requirements

    • 5+ years’ relevant accounting experience
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong work ethic, good timekeeping and a deadline-driven approach
    • Strong organisational and methodical working skills
    • Good working knowledge of Pastel/Sage, Xero, Pastel Payroll or other payroll software, GreatSoft, eFiling and EasyFile
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams
    • CaseWare Working Papers experience would be advantageous

    Tax Administrator

    • Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Tax Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational, deadline-management and record-keeping skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and manage SARS correspondence, notices, submissions and follow-ups

    • Strong administrative, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills
    • Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
