Team Leader at AVI Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management: Monitor production variances, manage waste, and optimize labor utilization to meet budget goals.
• People Development: Train and motivate your team, ensure effective resource utilization, and foster a culture of engagement and innovation.
• Health and Safety: Implement Safety Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) practices, conduct safety audits, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Quality Control: Maintain food safety standards, manage quality processes, and address customer complaints.
• Production Efficiency: Ensure adherence to production plans, manage downtime, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Production/Operations/Manufacturing Management within a unionized FMCG environment
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), World Class Manufacturing (WCM) or Lean manufacturing.

Education:

• National Diploma or BTech in Chemical Engineering/Operations Management or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work shifts and overtime
• Solid understanding of production line functions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• SAP experience is advantageous
