Team Leader Overhead Creditors (Western Cape) at PEP

Description

• To manage the performance of the Local Payment department by monitoring the delivery of work according to deadlines and quality standards. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review supplier reconciliations
• Directs and controls the day to day operations and activities
• Supervises, lead, guide and support the team to ensure operation performance expectations are met
• Onboarding of new suppliers
• Enhance management processes 
• Upskill and train the technical skills of team members
• Resolves supplier discrepancies and queries
• System enhancements to increase efficiencies and the capacity of the team
• Ad Hoc responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in creditors
• 2+ years’ supervisory experience will be an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), their financial modules, and cost structures would be advantageous
• Proficient in Google Workspace 
• Technical Aptitude
• Knowledge of SAP (or similar accounting package)
