Team Leader: Stores Banking (Northern Suburbs (Cape)
To identify, manage and communicate risks of potential fraud in the business to minimise any financial loss. To manage the daily performance of the department by monitoring the delivery of work according to deadlines and quality standards and to perform accounting tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identification of errors and communication of potential cash fraud to the business
Review cash and acquiring bank reconciliations
Team Management
Fosters relationships with all stakeholders
Leadership
Recommended and facilitated implementation of system and process enhancements
Ad hoc reporting
Requirements
Tertiary Qualification (i.e. Certificate, Diploma or Degree) in accounting
3 years experience within a finance department
Supervisory experience will be an advantage
Retail experience will be an advantage
SAP experience will be an advantage
Knowledge of banking processes will be an advantage
Computer literacy – Google Workspace (Intermediate G-Sheets)
Knowledge of financial systems and processes
Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
Numerical Ability
