The Team Manager Electrical is responsible to make sure that systems are maintained, certified and safe to operate within allocated budget. Leads the team to achieve the objectives effectively. Develop electricians to comply with maintenance and legislative standards.
Provides guidance and advice on:
Electrical standards, maintenance, safety and environmental
Issuing coc's for new and existing maintenance of all Columbus electrical machines and lighting
Liaison with customers and suppliers, and manage team effectively
Ensure that the maintenance plan is executed to achieve the maximum outputs as negotiated and reflected in the balanced score card of the Columbus Plant.
Breakdown management.
Regular plant checks and preventative maintenance plan execution
Root cause failure analysis.
Spares management.
Appointed under OHSACT to be accountable for safety of self and workforce.
Requirements
Minimum of N3 Electrical or Electromechanical with 15 years of Columbus relevant experience and applicable trade test.
The ideal candidate to hold a S4 National Diploma or N6 in Electrical Engineering, with 3 years of relevant experience.
TMDP and previous acting will be an advantage.
PC Literate with Microsoft Office, People Soft and all relevant plant systems.
Good communication skills with ability to liaise with customers on all levels.
Knowledge of wiring regulations and specifications.
Knowledge of planned maintenance principles and the production process flow through all plants
Knowledge of spares co-ordination
Sound knowledge of electrical systems, i.e. motors, transformers, MCC’s, etc.
Understand the implementation of various programs such as: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc
