Team Manager: Theft at Santam Insurance

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Desktop Manager position will include the management of the Desktop claims consultants. The office is responsible for assessing the merits of motor theft related claims, adjudication of these claims and after care provision to clients and brokers. The position also entails compiling management information, ensuring client satisfaction and rendering a complete management function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will be specifically responsible for execution and building relationships across divisions, external stakeholders, intermediaries and clients.

• Influencing and fostering a culture of performance aimed at world class service.
• Meet the prescribed client delight satisfaction and net promoter scores.
• Build and maintain relationships with Santam Motor claims service providers.
• Responsible for the continuous development and performance of reporting desk top consultants.     
• Responsible for management of all the various service levels, turn-around times and the overall    quality of claims processing and investigation. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant post Matric qualification
• Relevant Insurance related qualifications
• 5 years’ experience in short-term insurance services and products
• Motor theft investigation and technical experience (Desktop and/or Field)
• Experience in managing a team on 2IC level.
• Must be computer literate
• Valid driver’s license code EB (08)
