Team Member: Company and Business Names at Companies & Intellectual Property Commission

Required minimum education/training:

• 3-year National diploma or B Degree in Public Administration / Public Management / Law.
• LLB will serve as an added advantage. 

Required minimum work experience:

• 1-2 years’ exposure and or experience in the administration of company or close corporation legislation

Key performance areas:     

• To Comply with policies and procedures for Name Registrations and Reservations to promote peace among the companies and business names.
• To conduct efficient Searches on Business and Company Names.
• To Conduct Name Approvals.
• Handle client queries.
• To report on performance and identify and escalate performance constraints and any risks.
• To ensure high quality of work and capturing of information to ensure correct of corporate information of companies and close corporations due to the economic value that such information has, and the impact of incorrect information on the reputation of the organisation.
