Tech Lead

As a Tech Lead, your main responsibility will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of solution delivery & systems, managing developers, and making contributions to technical solutions. 

Responsibilities

Manage the technical aspects of the solution delivery and systems within the domain:

• Define the technical direction
• Involvement in the running of the domain, including sprint planning, design, drive delivery, retros, understanding root cause of issues/instability
• Review code and approve changes
• Identify areas for continuous improvement

Manage the developers in the domain (+/- 5 developers):

• Carry out all aspects of people management i.e. staff performance appraisals, approve leave, recruit, train, develop and mentor staff.
• Assigning work to the developers, determining estimates, overseeing technical design and driving delivery

Contribute to technical solutions

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• 8+ years’ development experience
• Experience managing a development team
• Able to code in .NET, C#, C++, Java or JavaScript
• Experience in writing SQL for Microsoft SQL server, including stored procedures, UDF’s and other T-SQL Querying
• System integration, distributed computing and building enterprise-wide systems
• AWS Cloud implementation - advantageous
