Description

• To provide support and technical advice where specialised knowledge is required to resolve problems, and enhance skills levels of customers and support staff

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

• Qualified Technician
• Valid driver’s license

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

• 5 years related experience after qualification, including management exposure
• Experience in working with construction and forestry equipment is essential

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

• Provide Technical support to technicians and mechanisation employees.
• Identify training needs, develop materials, and deliver internal and on-the-job training sessions to enhance the technical capabilities of staff.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, address concerns, support demonstrations, and conduct customer clinics to promote best practices.
• Document and report technical advice and problem resolutions, track complex issues and share insights to improve team knowledge and service delivery.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

• Good knowledge of the construction and forestry product range
• Computer literacy (MS Office and job-related programs)
• Good verbal and communication skills
