Minimum Requirements    

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a relevant field (Essential/Minimum)
• 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and applications lifecycle management (Essential/Minimum)
• Experience in project delivery and handover processes (Essential/Minimum)
• Exposure to OT systems in a mining environment for 2-3 years (Recommended/Desirable)
• ITIL Foundation Certificate (Essential/Minimum)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Recommended/Desirable)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (Recommended/Desirable)
• CompTIA Cloud+ certification (Recommended/Desirable)
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Ensure the operational stability and performance of IM infrastructure and business-critical applications.
• Lead and manage the resolution of complex incidents, providing expertise in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Coordinate with multi-vendor and internal support teams to deliver consistent and reliable service.
• Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and implement preventative measures to enhance system reliability.
• Oversee the change control processes, including risk mitigation and adherence to governance standards.
• Collaborate on IT/OT project handovers, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with security standards.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to cybersecurity controls.
• Drive efficiency and automation within IM operations, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and optimization.
• Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Manage technical risks and ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place.
