Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably in the agriculture or meteorology sector.
A science or agricultural qualification, with credits preferably in Meteorology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
A proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skill
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A valid Code 08 driver's license and driving experience.
Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Develop and implement a personal sales strategy in line with the regional and national sales strategy to increase the current client base for all services in the region.
Identify potential new business in existing and new markets and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including troubleshooting, training, and consultation.
Work collaboratively with other members of the sales team, as well as other departments, to achieve company goals.
Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and generate new leads. Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
