Requirements
Proven track record of successful sales within steel and heavy manufacturing industries.
Technical knowledge of metalworking machinery (advantageous).
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
Self-driven, persuasive, and deadline-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Team player with a mature, positive attitude.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell a full range of metalworking machinery, tooling, and services.
Plan and execute structured call cycles with regular customer and prospect visits.
Identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and close deals effectively.
Grow revenue, profit, and customer base in line with company targets.
Provide accurate forecasting, sales reports, and market intelligence.
Support pricing optimisation and maximise profit margins.
Maintain customer records and uphold the highest professional standards.
Conduct cold-calling activity to expand market reach.
