Technical Support Administrator: Payment Services at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To monitor and process EFT, Debicheck files through the relevant systems within the parameters of the operating procedures 
• To act as 1st line support for the department and address, escalate and resolve queries.

Experience
MINIMUM:

• 1 - 3 Years’ experience in a Payments Operations landscape 
• Technical experience in working on payment systems 
• Experience in working with SQL
• Experience in working with Windows Server 
• Experience in Eft, DebiCheck and AVS 

IDEAL:

• 1+ Years’ experience in a Payments Operations landscape.  

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Diploma in Information Technology - Computer Science or Engineering - General

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology - Computer Science or Information Technology

Knowledge
MINIMUM:

Relevant legislation

• Good understanding of various systems in a payments environment, and their delivery capabilities
• Good understanding of BankServ services (EFTs, AVS and DebiCheck)
• Good knowledge of the applicable clearing rules
• Basic knowledge of the interbank payments arena

IDEAL:

• Capitec Payments Services exposure.
