Technician Assistant: Maintenance at Weir Minerals

Purpose of Role:

• The successful candidate will ensure he/she assist on all general work to done in the maintenance department and were applicable to assist the Artisan if the necessary training has been provided.

• Assist to all trades
• Assisting boilermaker in general duties / grinding, welding and drilling.
• Painting
• Repairs
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, Scissor lift & cherry picker

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: 

• Technical qualification (e.g. N3 Mechanical / Electrical).
