Adhere to all Safety Health Environment (SHE) and housekeeping requirements at the branch and customer sites at all times. Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times. Keep contract packs up to date.
Service: Assist technicians with carrying out maintenance, repairs, inspections and overhauling on Weir Minerals equipment on customer sites or in the service centre, including assistance with installation and commissioning of pumps and other Weir Minerals products. General assistance as and when required, including cleaning/prepping of parts, spray painting. Dismantling of pumps and bearing assemblies. Load and unload trucks and assist with delivery of spares when required.
Customer support: Ability to identify solutions to improve equipment or processes on and off sites
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Grade 12 / N3 Certificate or any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above
Technical knowledge/experience in minerals processing plants will be advantageous
