    Technician (Mechanical) - Sasolburg

    Qualifications

    • Matric 
    • N6 / Diploma in Engineering
    • Red Seal Trade Certificate in Fitting/Fitting and Turning

    Experience

    • 5-10 Years’ Experience in a Maintenance Environment as a Technician  with Asset Care Experience

    Duties

    OHS Act Compliance:

    • Ensure Statutory compliance

    Responsible for MTTR & MTBF analysis:

    • Identify problematic equipment
    • Determine AM & PPM focus areas
    • Review Work Order & Schedule Compliance
    • Review Resource Utilisation
    • Review critical, PPM & AM spares lists
    • Review and analyse 5-Why analysis
    • Advance problem solving and collaboration with Reliability Engineer
    • Paricipate in root cause analysis investigation
    • Execution of reliability improvement projects

    Budget Control / Cost Management:

    • Approve purchase orders within certain cost limit
    • Obtain quotations from external service providers 5S
    • Drive 5S principles
