NRC cares, not only for its patients but also for society and earth. National Renal Care seeks to recruit an ambitious, talented, goal driven and self-motivated individual to fulfil the role of a Technologist: Water Systems and Dialysis Technology

The Technical Officer will be responsible for improving efficiency and effectiveness in the technical department on a national base and achieving objectives in accordance with NRCs strategy. The incumbent will also be responsible for strengthening the strategic and technical aspects of NRC and ensure solid technical advice, follow up and accountability.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Supervision of the clinical technical function planned maintenance and in-house projects.
• Managing all water plants.
• Building strong relationships with the Department of Water and Sanitation.
• To be actively involve with all emergency and disaster management committees.
• Ability to cross train between Technical and operations. 
• Assistance with any Ad Hoc functions as requested.
• Assist with financial control of the technical budget (CAPEX and OPEX).
• Co-coordinating the utilization of clinical technical resources.
• Regular traveling nationally between chronic units.
• Managing Technical requirements for HHD.
• Active involvement with design and planning of new and upgraded chronic units

Requirements

• Registered Clinical Technologist.
• Relevant qualification within a specialist area.
• 5 years Dialysis experience.
• Computer proficient
• Prior managerial experience will be an advantage.
• Valid driver's license.
