Temp Checker at The Heineken Company

You will be required to do the following:

• Ensure Validity, Accuracy, Timeliness and Completeness of all transactions and activities executed in this function at Dry Goods.
• Proper handling of incoming shipment, including inspecting,documenting and organizing received goods
• Ensure accuracy in loading returnable packaging materials
• Organizing received MRO items, preparing them for collections and updating inventory.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assuring no damaged \foreign items are received.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic records and documents
• Stock Take participation.
• Perform daily cycle counts and stock integrity checks
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping
• Ensure that operational area is kept clean and tidy

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

• Matric/Grade 12
• 1-2yrs Checking experience in a Warehouse / Logistics / Production environment (FMCG would be an advantage)
• Good computer literacy in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Proven good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good business acumen in building on customer performance
• Strong administrative skills
• Strong self-management skills, and able to work within a team.
• High levels of concentration and very meticulous
• Ability to conduct investigations through structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to multi-task (perform different tasks at one time)
• Must be able to identify opportunities for improvement - creative and innovative.
• Willing and able to work shifts and overtime as and when required.
