Job Description

• Optimi is looking for a  motivated and adaptable Retentions Consultant to join our fast-paced Sales division on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate must have strong sales and retention skills, thrive in a high-pressure environment, and be passionate about customer engagement and service excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Sales/Marketing qualification (advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years in a sales-related role
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluent in English (written and verbal
• Fluent in Afrikaans (advantageous)

 DUTIES

• Lead retention campaigns and upsell efforts.
• Professionally manage cancellation requests.
• Build lasting client relationships to enhance loyalty.
• Promote additional services and products to existing clients.
• Convert leads efficiently and meet monthly sales targets.
• Conduct outbound campaigns (fin awaiting, debicheck, etc.).
• Follow sales scripts and maintain quality standards.
• Assist walk-in clients and attend sales events (e.g., expos).
• Manage all call-related tasks efficiently.
• Prioritize and handle work items effectively.
• Maintain adherence to sales schedules.
• Submit accurate reports on sales performance.
• Share insights and suggestions for process improvements.
• Update CRM/sales tools regularly.
• Support colleagues when needed.
• Complete any other tasks or training as assigned.
