Tendering Assistant - Johannesburg at Redpath Mining

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric certificate/equivalent
• Relevant Certification (administration / computer literacy etc.) with up to 2 years’ related experience
• Ms. Office Proficiency

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Strong Organisational Skills
• Analytical and attention to detail
• Knowledge of tendering processes
• Relevant software proficiency
• Communication skills

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares tendering documentation / Review and format documents
• Capturing of tendering data
• Keeps track of received data and source documents / document control
• Prepares and sorts source documents and identifies and interprets data to be entered
• Contacts authors of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data
• Make necessary corrections to information entered
• Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and service providers
• Coordinate tender progress meetings; maintain attendance register and meeting minutes
